5 Steps to Protein Spot Removal

  1. Apply light mist of steam from your spotting gun.
  2. Apply solution of 1 teaspon of Laidlaw RSRŪ combined with 6 oz of TERGITŪ.
  3. Apply white, clean towel over the wetted area and mist with steam. Roll up the item (you may want to place in a plastic bag).
  4. Put in a warm spot (i.e. under a press buck or near the boiler for 45 minutes (electronic kitchen timers work well to keep track of your progress)).
  5. Remove from heat, make sure the area is still moist (if it is) apply Laidlaw's Leveling Agent (or Laidlaw Hydrocarbon Leveling Agent for petro/df2000 users), wait 10 to 15 minutes   and dry clean in the appropriate category load.

TIP: Leveling agent should be used as a last step on all wetside spotting to avoid rings & redeposition.
